When Michelle contacted me a few weeks ago about creating a hexagon garden I jumped at the chance to build something new where I could learn and grow from it. The entire process was fun from brainstorming, testing and then putting her idea into planter form. Check out her one of a kind garden! It features five, fully repurposed “Mimi” hexagon planters. These are made from repurposed cedar 2×4’s, new screws, landscape fabric and then filled with mulch (for water retention) and premium garden soil (1/3 top soil, 1/3 compost and 1/3 Pete moss). Thanks to Stephen and our neighbor Timothy Murray for their help in building and delivering these planters. It was certainly a team effort!
